| Mother's Day Luncheon 2010 |
 |
Friday, April 23, Las Posas Country Club, Camarillo
Mothers are the primary caregivers in our lives and the community. They are natural healers,
filling our lives with love, understanding and hope. Whether they are still with us or long since past,
their love comforts, remains, and sustains. Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association invites you to
join us as we honor our mothers, both living and deceased, at a Mother’s Day Luncheon.
This year we are proud to honor:
Janice Petit Willis
Janice comes from a pioneer family. Her grandfather Frank Petit settled in Ventura County in the 1800’s. Her passion for quality and accessible healthcare is evidenced by her 35 years of service to Community Memorial Hospital, where she now serves as Board Emeritus. She has four children, eight grandchildren, and is married to Robert Willis, a former Board member of Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association. Coincidently, Robert’s mother, Marie F. Willis, R.N., was one of the first Ventura County visiting nurses.
And to remember:
Margaret Daily
If the measure of a mother is the legacy of her children, then Margaret Daily is a remarkable success in our book.
All three of her children, Carolyn Menne, Milton “Bud” Daily, and Margaret Given, share her civic mindedness. More importantly, to us, they are loyal and generous supporters of Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association. Thank you Mrs. Daily for leaving a legacy of caring and compassionate children.
Make your mother proud. Please join Livingston in honoring our mothers and making Ventura County a kinder and more compassionate place to live.

WELCOME TO
Livingston Memorial
Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice
The Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association has been making home health house calls for Ventura County residents since 1947. LMVNA can support a patient’s needs for home health care and hospice with its experienced, certified and licensed staff.
LMVNA’s primary purpose is to provide comprehensive home health and hospice services to Ventura County patients regardless of their ability to pay, based on its available resources. Its target population encompasses the sick, frail, disabled, elderly, terminally ill and homebound residents of the county. It is the policy of the organization that all patients will be treated with dignity and respect on a non-discriminatory basis.
In effort to serve Ventura County’s heterogeneous ethnic population LMVNA has clinical field staff (registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, dieticians, medical social workers, certified home health aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists) as well as in-house employees who are bilingual (English/Spanish). LMVNA also utilizes a translation phone service to provide an interpreter for our patients who speak limited or no English.
Call Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association for your home health care and hospice needs. |
